Zusammenfassung: | 877,494. Control of D.C. motors. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. Sept. 22, 1959 [Sept. 24, 1958], No. 30587/58. Class 38 (3). When the voltage across armature 1 tends to become excessive during regeneration, a trigger circuit 12 operates to pulse a flash discharge tube 6, and current then flows through loading resistor 5 to prevent over-voltage on the armature. Contactor 10c having coil 10 then closes to extinguish the tube 6 and, afterwards, contactor 11c having coil 11 closes to relieve the first contactor and to open contacts 11ca in series with shunt field winding 3. The supply for the motor may include mercury arc rectifier equipment incapable of receiving regenerated power. |
