Class 98(2) A support for a photographic light-sensitive film comprises a polymer or copolymer of alphamethyl styrene. The copolymer may be with acrylonitrile. In the examples the supports are subbed on both sides with coatings in the following order; polymethyl methacrylate, cellulose nitrate, gelatin; or a polyester from ethylene glycol, phthalic acid and maleic acid followed by a gelatin coating. One side is then coated with a silver halide emulsion and the other side with an anti-halation layer. If desired, silver halide emulsion layers can be applied to both sides.
