Zusammenfassung: | 849,721. Pipe joints. ROBERTSHAW-FULTON CONTROLS CO. March 16, 1959 [July 10, 1958], No. 9020/59. Class 99(1). In a coupling comprising separable members 10, 12 having passages 38, 24 for the reception of a tube, and a sleeve 16 provided with guide portions 30, 32 at the ends thereof, the member 12 has a convex deflecting corner 26 for engagement by the portion 30, and member 10 is formed with portion 46 parallel to the passages and between inner and outer conical portions 42, 44. There are means for connecting the members to align the passages and compressing the sleeve between the members to lock the tubing within the passages. As shown, the members are connected by screw-threads, the sleeve has a convex cam surface 34. A shoulder is formed within the member 12 to limit the depth of insertion of the tube therein. |
