Zusammenfassung: | 836,361. Feeding wood chips. BRITISH ARTIFICIAL RESIN CO. Ltd. May 2, 1957 [May 8, 1956], No. 14215/56. Class 78 (1). Wood chips from hopper 21 are fed by feeding means 22 into tray 1 which is vibrated so as to feed the chips through its bottom 50 to form a layer of material on endless travelling band 5. The bottom 50 is formed of rods 9, a mesh 10 which strickles the top of the layer and defines its thickness, and sheets 25 (not shown) secured to brackets 23 which serve to blank off areas to ensure that the layer of material is uniform in density over its entire width. The tray is carried by arms 11 pivoted at 12 and is vibrated by eccentrics 13 on shaft 14 driven by motor 17, a counterweight 20 being vibrated from the same shaft. Specifications 665,276 and 704,346 are referred to. |
