Zusammenfassung: | 806,134. Printing surfaces. ADDRESSOGRAPH - MULTIGRAPH CORPORATION. Dec. 7, 1956, No. 37461/56. Class 100(2) A printing device 25 of the kind used for credit transactions and which bear in one area 26 data 35 such as a name or address and which are used for printing sales slips is provided with a coloured background 25 which leaves bare the area 26 and also a portion of the plate delineating other data 27 pertaining to the credit relation to which the device relates. The device may be made of aluminium, the background area being formed by anodizing treatment through a resist, or by etching through a resist, and applying colour to the anodized or etched portions. The data 27 is merely informative while the data 35 is that which is printed on a sales slip or the like and is composed of embossures. Further informative data may be printed on an adhesive backed card 40 which is itself covered by an adhesive transparent sheet 45. When the card 40 is adapted to receive a signature a portion 45A of the sheet 45 is provided with a protective backing sheet 46 so that it does not initially adhere to the card 40. After signing the card 40 the user peels off the sheet 46 and sticks the portion 45A on to the card 40. |
