A coloured laminated textile fabric is formed by applying heat and pressure to an assembly of a ply of a fusible interlining containing polythene threads and at least one ply of a coloured fabric, wherein the polythene threads are spundyed threads of a colour and shade matching or nearly matching the colour and shade of the fabric to be fused. One ply containing polythene threads may be interposed between two plies of coloured fabric, which may be woven or knitted.
