Zusammenfassung: | 755,830. Discharge apparatus. ELECTRIC & MUSICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Sept. 24, 1953 [Sept. 30, 1952], No. 24396/52. Class 39 (1). An electrode, particularly a dynode, for an elution discharge tube comprises a base 1 formed with a flanged aperture 2 and having a plurality of transversely arranged slats 6 therein projecting from one surface of the base, the slats being formed with end portions 7 provided with flanges 8 which abut against the surface of the base and are welded, riveted, or otherwise secured thereto at 9, and the shape of the end portions 7 being such as to position the slats 6 in planes at angles of say 45 degrees to the plane of the base. The base 1 is provided with perforations 5 by which the electrode can be assembled on support rods and maintained in spaced-apart relationship with similarly constructed electrodes in a multistage electron multiplier. |
