Zusammenfassung: | 754,625. Thermionic distributers. MULLARD RADIO VALVE CO., Ltd. Oct. 1, 1954, No. 28350/54. Drawings to Specification. Class 40 (3). [Also in Group XL (c)] A distributer for a pulse time multiplex system comprises a number of beam-and-parallelslot C.R. discharge tubes of the type in which a cathode beam which is strap-shaped passes through a slot parallel to the cross-section of the beam in a plate to produce an output signal only when the voltages applied to two deflecting plates are equal. One deflecting plate of each tube has a sawtooth voltage applied to it and the other has a D.C. biasing voltage of which the value increases successively for successive tubes. Thus when a time multiplexed pulse train is applied to modulate the cathode-ray beam in the tube the first pulse on the train will appear as an output at the first tube and each successive pulse will appear at the output of the respective tube. |
