Zusammenfassung:The process of the parent Specification for the separation of the components of a mixture of ammonia and carbon dioxide by means of an aqueous solution of an ammonium salt of a strong acid, wherein the selective absorption of ammonia is effected at a pressure higer than atmosphere, is carried out at a temperature higher than 100 DEG C so at to increase the selectivity of separation. A suitable temperature is 125-135 DEG C, and a suitable pressure is 3.5 atm.
