Zusammenfassung: | 696,204. Automatic exchange switches. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd. March 24, 1950 [March 29, 1949], No. 8475/49. Class 40 (iv). A combined contact bank and switch multiple arrangement is formed by printing or similarly depositing tracks 11, Fig. 1, e.g. silver, on an insulating sheet 10, e.g. resin-impregnated paper, the tracks terminating at apertures 13, e.g. rectangular or circular, which when the sheet is folded as shown in Fig. 3 provide access for switch wipers. Before such folding the sheet 10 is slotted between the ends of the tracks 11 which are then bent inwards along the line 15. Alternatively, tracks are printed on both sides of the sheet 10, corresponding tracks being connected, e.g. by riveting, and an extra insulating sheet is inserted in the folds. In an arrangement, Fig. 5, suitable for the line wipers of a group selector, corresponding track terminations 32, 44 are connected to different multiple connections. The corresponding sections 29, 30 are riveted together so that completion of the folding completes the multiple connections. When folded the arrangements are consolidated by heat and pressure. Specifications 651,785, 696,203 and 696,205 are referred to. |
