Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	Domestic hot water system comprising a cold water inlet 302 receiving a mains supply and a hot water outlet 304, a thermal store 342 for hot water, a heat exchanger 308 connected to the mains supply to heat cold water using a hot fluid received from a hot fluid source 306 and an electric heater 326 receiving water from the heat exchanger. There is a charging mode wherein the thermal store is charged by controlling the heat exchanger and electric heater and a mixed water mode for providing hot water to the hot water outlet. In the mixed water mode, when a demand for hot water is detected and a temperature at the hot water outlet detects temperature of the water being hotter than desired, cold water is passed from the mains to mix with and cool the hot water to at or below the desired temperature. A method and computer readable medium are also claimed.
