Zusammenfassung: | An earplug 2300 to be inserted into the ear canal having at least two heat detectors, which may be thermistors 205, 207, alternatively they may be semiconductor temperature sensors, for observing a temperature gradient in the ear canal of a user. A pulse monitor, which may be photoplethysmography sensors 215, 217, alternatively could be ballistocardiography sensors. A flexible printed circuit board is folded inside the earplug to provide a space for mounting the sensors, allowing the heat detectors to be placed within the ear canal. Changes in the temperature gradient, heart rate and magnitude of the pulse are monitored for determining the risk of the user in facing an imminent heat stroke. |
