Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:Method for forming pelletised evaporite mineral product, comprising: pulverising an evaporate mineral feedstock 12 (e.g., polyhalite), forming a powder; mixing the powder with binder 13 (e.g., starch, flour) and liquid 14 (e.g., water), forming a mixture; wet screening the mixture to separate granule fraction and fines fraction; processing the fines fraction using a pelletiser, producing pellets prinicipally composed (e.g., 90% by mass) of evaporate mineral. Method may comprise separating oversized and undersized fractions, and disaggregating and re-pelletising such fractions (e.g., in mixer/granulator operating chamber). The granule fraction may be directed through an oversize screen to separate product and non-product granules. Non-product granules may be directed to a secondary mixer which feeds the wet screening. Method may comprise mixing the powder with the binder in a mixer/granulator operating chamber and processing to form pellets. Wet screening may involve a rotary drum screen (e.g., self-cleaning trommel screen). Disaggregation of pellets may be without substantial drying subsequent to processing.
