Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:A fan assembly comprises a refrigeration system (21, figs 4 - 6) having a thermal store 43 and a circuit around which a refrigerant circulates. The circuit comprises a compressor 47 and a first heat exchanger 46 exchanges heat between the refrigerant and the thermal store. The thermal store surrounds (e.g. encircles) at least part of the compressor to absorb noise generated by the compressor. The refrigeration system also comprises a further heat exchanger 49 located above the first exchanger and an airflow generator 20 generating an airflow over the further exchanger. The further exchanger surrounds (e.g. encircles) at least part of the generator. The thermal store may comprise a phase change material. The first exchanger may be embedded in the thermal store. The exchangers may be cylindrical. A condensation collector collects condensate forming on the further exchanger and comprises a tray 77 located between the exchangers and a bottle 79 connected to the tray via a drain 78, with the bottle located in a gap (79, fig 8) of the first exchanger. The assembly may comprise a filter assembly (18, 19, fig 2) surrounding (encircles) the further exchanger. The fan assembly may be used for cooling or heating of air.
