Zusammenfassung:A computer-implemented method for detecting water ingress at a wastewater asset of a wastewater network comprising receiving a first and a second set of time segments associated with a positive and a negative, respectively, rate of change of a time series ground water level dataset associated with the wastewater asset. A first set of time series rainfall data associated with the first set of time segments is applied to a trained machine learning (ML) model for predicting flow data. The model is trained on a training dataset comprising historical wastewater measurement data for the asset associated with the second set of time segments and a second set of time series rainfall data for the asset associated with the second set of segments. A set of flow delta data is calculated based on the difference between a set of measured flow data for the first set of segments and the predicted flow data. Water ingress is detected based on identifying those portions of the set of flow delta data associated with ingress. Further disclosed are apparatuses and systems utilising the method and a model trained by the method.
