A fan assembly

A fan assembly (10, fig 1) comprises a refrigeration system (21, figs 4 - 6) having a first 46 and second heat exchanger 49, a compressor 47, and an airflow generator 20 generating an airflow over the second heat exchanger. The first heat exchanger surrounds (encircles) a major portion of the compressor, and the second heat exchanger is located above the first heat exchanger. The assembly comprises a nozzle 11 attached to a main body 15 and comprises a second outlet (13) through which airflow is emitted. An inlet 25 is located on a side of the body and a first outlet 26 located in a top of the body. The second exchanger surrounds a major portion of the generator. The exchangers may be cylindrical. A condensation collector collects condensate forming on the second heat exchanger and comprises a tray 77 located between the first and second heat exchangers and a bottle 79 connected to the tray via a drain 78, with the bottle located in a gap (79, fig 8) of the first exchanger. Both the tray and bottle are removable from the assembly. The assembly may comprise a filter assembly (18, 19, fig 2) surrounding the second exchanger.
