Zusammenfassung: | Disclosed is a system for treating air drawn from within a room or enclosed space for discharge back into a room or other enclosed space or elsewhere, wherein the air is treated by the application of ultraviolet light, ozone or other oxidising chemicals, and electrostatic precipitation. The ozone may be generated by UV light having the wavelength of 180-190nm prior to electrostatic precipitation, or the ozone may be supplied separately. Atomised water may be sprayed into the airflow, as well as the addition of aqueous oxidising agents. The electrostatic may contain two or more stages, as well as particulate collection electrodes with driven vibrators attached for dust collection. The particulate collection electrodes may comprise nozzles which may dispense water or other oxidising agents from the electrodes, and the electrodes may be cooled for condensation. The ozone in the system may be decomposed by using UV light having a wavelength of 250-290nm or using photocatalysts. One or more sensors may be provided to control different stages of the air purification system. |
