The connector 18 comprises a locking element 38 configured to engage with a locking portion 34 of the wellhead system 16 and a locking portion 52 of the second component 20, a gripping element 40 configured to engage with a gripping portion 60 of the wellhead system 16, and a compression element 42. The gripping element 38 and the locking element 40 of the wellhead system 16 are spaced from each other, and the compression element 42 is configured to introduce compression into the wellhead system 16 at least between the locking portion 34 and the gripping portion 60. |
