Zusammenfassung:	The present disclosure relates to appliance (1, fig 1), namely a thermal storage appliance, comprising a base 101 and a wheel assembly 200 for moving the appliance across a surface. The base comprises opposing first and second edges 140, 141 separated along a horizontal direction 21. The wheel assembly comprises at least one primary wheel (201, fig 3), 202 mounted at the base and rotatable about a rotational axis is located between a centre of gravity (12) of the appliance and the second edge such that the appliance and is configured to be supported by the at least one primary wheel and first edge on the surface. The at least one primary wheel may have a deployment mechanism (250), 251 that enables the retraction and deployment of the at least one primary wheel. The appliance may also include a removable stabilising unit 300 that comprises a stabilising wheel or jockey wheel 301.
