Zusammenfassung:The explosion relief assembly, particularly for an enclosed volume, comprises a panel 8,10,12,14 which is mounted on a first support 18,22 extending across an opening to a free edge 42. The free edge rests against an inner surface of a retaining lip of a second support 20,24. The panel generally bows outwards between the first support and free edge, away from the enclosed volume. The panel may comprise an outwardly-bowed central region 70+72+74 between two edge regions 66,68. The edge regions may be substantially flat, optionally coplanar. The central region may be wholly outside a plane of the edge regions. A seal may be mounted on a seal support of the retaining lip, the support optionally comprising an outwardly-turned edge of the retaining lip. Optionally, an inward-facing sealing face of a sealing strip mounted on the panel is arranged to contact the seal. The sealing face may be spaced from the second edge of the panel.
