Transfer device

[Problem] To be able to reliably pick up parts of various shapes, such as sewn products, and to transfer the parts efficiently and eliminate errors associated with pickup. [Solution] In a transfer device 11, a plurality of parts P arranged in the same plane and obtained by cutting sheet material with a cutting unit 21 are picked up and transferred to a next assembling process unit 22, the transfer device 11 comprising a plurality of pickup arms 14, each having a telescopic arm unit 15 and a suction hand unit 16 that suctions the parts P at the leading end of the arm unit 15. The pickup arm 14 is provided so as to be movable between the cutting unit 21 and the assembling process unit 22. Additionally, a control unit that controls the driving of the pickup arm 14 is configured to change, on the basis of graphic data used in said cutting, the relative positions between the suction hand units 16 in a plan view to suction and pick up one of the cut parts P with one or more of the suction hand units 16.
