Zusammenfassung: | Embodiments of a system, device and method for automatic alignment and calibration of a fundus camera device. A stereo camera, fundus camera, movable platform, illumination source and multi-planar calibration target are employed. The stereo camera, mounted on the movable platform captures the images of planes of the multi-planar calibration target. The multi-planar calibration target is embedded with fiducial markers to calibrate the intrinsic and extrinsic properties of the stereo camera. An illumination source is configured to calibrate position of the fundus camera relative to location of the eye calibration target. The axes system of the movable platform and the stereo camera are calibrated. The alignment of the fundus camera image sensor is validated. A fast validation of all components is performed prior to use. The fundus camera device can automatically align if the error values of various components are within the predefined threshold value. |
