A display panel with at least one hole area HA in an active area of the display panel. Within a boundary area BA surrounding the hole area, first and second sets of data lines DL1, DL2 are disposed on different layers. The first and second data lines supply voltage to first and second colour subpixels respectively. The gate lines GL1, GL2 may be disposed on another different layer and may be closer to the first data lines, preferably supplying red and blue subpixels, than the second data lines, preferably supplying green subpixels, to supress degradations in luminance. The subpixels may use p-type or n-type metal-oxide-semiconductor transistors. An insulating layer ILD may be between the gate line and one of the first and second data lines and a thickness of the insulating layer may be greater than the thickness of a passivation layer PAS1 between the two data lines.
