Zusammenfassung:	An electrolyte composition comprising a solvent component comprising ethyl acetate and a lithium salt component comprising one or more lithium salts, wherein the concentration of the lithium salt component in the electrolyte composition is from greater than 1.0 mol dm-3 to less than 3.0 mol dm-3. The solvent component may comprise at least 50 wt%, at least 70 wt% ethyl acetate based on the total weight of the solvent composition. The solvent component may contain less than 60 wt%, less than 30 wt% organic carbonate compounds based on the total weight of the solvent composition. The solvent component may consist of ethyl acetate. The solvent component may be non-aqueous. The lithium salt component may comprise lithium hexafluorophosphate (LiPF6), lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (LiTFSI), lithium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide (LiFSI), lithium difluoro(oxalate)borate (LiDFOB), lithium difluorophosphate (LiDFP) and/or lithium bis(oxalate)borate (LiBOB). The lithium salt component may consist of LiPF6 and LiFSI.
