| Zusammenfassung: | An offshore hydrocarbon pressure control apparatus (20) comprising a first subsea pipeline (26) that receives a first hydrocarbon flow, a second subsea pipeline (28) configured to receive a second hydrocarbon flow and a turboexpander (22) configured to expand the first hydrocarbon flow and a compressor (24) driven by the turboexpander configured to compress the second hydrocarbon flow, wherein both the turboexpander and the compressor are located either subsea or on an offshore platform. The hydrocarbon flows may be from different wells with the second hydrocarbon flow being from a mature well, having produced for at least five years. The invention enables offshore pressure boosting for low pressure hydrocarbon flows. |
