An architectural system with a lockable panel hook for creating an array of panels

A support framework (7, Fig 18) for an array of panels 3, comprising first and second parallel and co-planar panel runners 11 each having a top rail (19, Fig 4) connected to a bottom flange (21, Fig 4) by a web section (23, Fig 4) which is provided with a plurality of regularly spaced alignment apertures (25, Fig 3). Two panel hooks 301 each have an engagement means (311, Fig 10) for attaching the panel hook 301 to a panel runner 11, that has an internal profile that is complementary to the external profile of the top rail 19. Each panel hook 301 has a locking member (325, Fig 10) which is engaged with one of the alignment apertures 25, and a panel attachment means (305, Fig 11) for attachment to a panel 3. The alignment apertures 25 on the first panel runner 11 are opposite to the alignment apertures 25 on the second support panel 11 in a direction that is perpendicular to the first and second panel runners 11.
