Zusammenfassung:A method of injecting carbon dioxide into an offshore injection well, the method comprising: storing carbon dioxide within a plurality of storage pipes 103 at an offshore storage facility 1; and injecting the stored carbon dioxide into an injection well. The pipes may be closed at each end, 1 to 1.5 metres in diameter,10 to 30 metres in length, and of API line pipe X52, X56, X60, X65, X70 or X80 standard to store carbon dioxide as a liquid at ambient conditions. An offshore facility for injecting CO2 and a combination of an injection rig and a producing reservoir are also claimed.
