Testing system having variable tension-compression loading rate and test method thereof

A testing system having a variable tension-compression loading rate. The system includes a creep maintaining mechanism 1, a loading regulation mechanism 2, a loading mechanism 3, and a data acquisition and analysis system 4. The creep maintaining mechanism 1 is used to apply a constant loading force to a specimen under the action of the loading regulation mechanism 2. The loading mechanism 3 includes a base 31, a second piston type cylinder 32, a lower clamping head 33, an upper clamping head 34, a second fixed cross beam 35 and a second movable cross beam 36. The lower clamping head 33 and the upper clamping head 34 are oppositely arranged for clamping both ends of the specimen. The second fixed cross beam 35 and the upper clamping head 34 are used for compressing the specimen. An oil pump in the loading regulation mechanism 2 is used to apply a monotonically-increased load to the specimen.
