Zusammenfassung:	A vacuum cleaner comprising a non-cyclonic separation system 100 comprising a bin body (108, fig 6) a motor assembly 1000 including a suction motor (1004, fig 23) for generating an airflow through the separation system, the suction motor housed in a motor housing (1002, fig 24) and a battery assembly (2000, fig 34) for powering the suction motor, the battery assembly comprising a battery housing (2016, 2018, fig 36) wherein at least two of the bin body, the motor housing, and the battery housing have a same maximal width. The vacuum cleaner is a handheld pole or stick type cleaner.
