Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:A pseudorandom batch code printing and product authentication system and method comprises one or more processors, and a batch code printing application that causes the processors to generate an authenticating sequence of authentic pseudorandom numbers by inputting an initial seed value 201 into a cryptographic algorithm to output an initial authenticating pseudorandom number in the authenticating sequence. The initial seed value comprises a product date 202 of a first product in a product batch, and each subsequent authenticating pseudorandom number in the sequence is generated directly or indirectly from the initial pseudorandom number, whereby the initial number or subsequent derivative thereof is input into the algorithm to output a next number of the sequence. First and second alphanumeric codes 208 based on a first and further set of one or more numbers in the sequence respectively are generated, and first and second batch codes 200comprising the first and second codes are printed on a first and second product respectively. The batch code may further comprise a dot code 210.
