Zusammenfassung:Provided are a method and system for predicting a boulder lying ahead in tunneling progression of a tunnel boring machine. The method comprises: determining a torque coefficient of a tunnel boring machine according to a cutterhead torque which is collected during tunneling of the tunnel boring machine, so as to calculate a theoretical torque during tunneling of the tunnel boring machine; in response to a change in the cutterhead torque which is greater than 10% of the theoretical torque, determining that the tunnel boring machine encounters a boulder during tunneling; and on the basis of a preset boulder prediction model, determining the position and the size of the boulder according to the rotating speed of a cutterhead and a tunneling speed during tunneling of the tunnel boring machine. Therefore, by means of the roller cutter stress, tunneling speed and cutterhead torque during tunneling of a tunnel boring machine, whether the tunnel boring machine encounters a boulder during tunneling and the position and the size of a boulder encountered in front of the tunnel boring machine can be effectively determined. The method has simple operation and low costs, and can conveniently and quickly predict a boulder, thereby ensuring the tunneling safety of the tunnel boring machine.
