Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:A dispenser 100 for a bar 200 of solid product, preferably deodorant or soap. The dispenser 100 comprises a sleeve 110 and an advancement member 120, comprising projections 122 that are configured to engage directly with a peripheral surface 210 of the bar. Upon moving the advancement member, the projections deform the peripheral surface 210 of the bar to form grooves 220 in its surface and, via the grooves, a force is applied to the bar that advances and so dispenses it from end 102 along axis L. Preferably, the advancement member is a collar with thread(s) on an internal surface 112 with a tapered start(s) that engages with the outside of the bar. Preferably, the sleeve has a polygonal inner cross-section that engages with a corresponding cross-section of the bar so permitting force transfer from the sleeve to the bar. Preferably, the dispenser has caps 130, 140 and a refill bar can be fed into the bottom of the dispenser 114. The bar is also claimed. Preferably, a recess 216 on a first end of the bar (terminal surface 212) receives a protrusion on a second end of the bar.
