Zusammenfassung: | Power tool (1; fig. 1) comprises a housing 2, electric motor 22, motor output shaft 23, bearing 26 supporting an end of the shaft, and a support assembly 40 including a cap 41 having a sidewall 43 surrounding a cap centreline (46; fig. 11). Cap recess (49; fig. 12) receives the bearing. Outer surface (48; fig. 12) of cap sidewall may include convex (50, 53; fig. 12) and planar (56, 57; fig. 12) portions extending between shoulders (51, 52, 54, 55; fig. 12) corresponding to concave portions (12(1b), 12(2b); fig. 7) on an inner surface of the housing to support the cap in the housing. The cap is moveable along two orthogonal axes (X, Z; fig. 4), and rotatable about three orthogonal axes (X, Y, Z; fig. 8) providing bearing self-alignment and adjustment. Assembly 40 may include resilient boot 80 between the bearing and cap to dampen motor vibrations. |
