Electric grooming appliance

An electric grooming appliance includes a housing, a grooming device, an electric motor, and a controller. In some embodiments, the electric grooming appliance is capable of operating in different modes and includes a user interface which allows a user to communicate with the controller and select at least one of the modes. Additionally, the electric grooming appliance may record or store grooming session information on a memory and estimate future operating parameters based on the grooming session information. In one mode an amperage draw may be compared to a threshold and if it is greater than the threshold a power output is adjusted. In another mode a parameter relating to the force exerted on the blades from the skin of a user is determined and a signal is sent to a user interface if this exceeds a threshold (fig 33).
