Zusammenfassung: | A method of processing aluminium alloy by pulse current assisted laser peen forming followed by making the peened surface hydrophobic. During laser peening the aluminium alloy is clamped between electrodes and silicone oil is used as a confining layer. Simultaneous application of the pulsed current and peening laser on the aluminium whilst it is clamped results plastic deformation and grain refing, with the middle of the aluminium alloy protruding towards the laser and pores being formed in the peened surface. The hydrophobic surface is made by soaking the laser-peened aluminium for 40-60 minutes in an anhydrous ethanol solution which contains 1-2 % of perfluorooctyltriethoxysilane at a temperature in the range 100-120 0C. |
