Zusammenfassung:	A cycle for carrying cargo 248 comprises a cycle frame having a front section 202 mounting a steerable front wheel and a U-shaped rear section 204 having a head member 206 and side members 208, 210 with at least one rear wheel 252 being mounted to each side member 208, 210, a space disposed between the side members 208, 210 and rear wheels 252 , and powered lifting means 212 along the side members 208, 210 and including a movable lifting apparatus 226, the lifting means 212 being configured to move the movable lifting apparatus upwardly and/or downwardly with respect to the U-shaped rear section 204 for engaging with and lifting the cargo 248 positioned in the space. The lifting apparatus may further comprise a folding platform 240.
