Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A subsea heat bank 10 for thermally insulating a subsea installation comprising an external casing 12 having an internal space 14 to hold seawater. At least one heat storing member 30a-d is provided in the internal space, the heat storing member comprising a phase change material that has a melting point below a normal flow temperature and above a hydrate formation temperature to limit the formation of hydrates within a flowpath of the installation. The heat bank may function as a subsea connector for connecting two sections of a subsea pipeline 40/42 together. A clamp 24 may secure the pipelines together and be actuated by control line 26.
