Zusammenfassung:	A double or dual action self-locking mechanism is provided. The self-locking mechanism comprises a hydraulic actuator 4 which pushes a latch actuator body 2 so that it engages a slider latch body 7 causing the slider latch body 7 to slide laterally as it moves into a space between the slider latch 6 and latch lock 1, and pulling the slider insert 5. The motion of the self-locking mechanism ceases when the bottom of the slider latch body 7 touches the latch housing 3. The amount of movement is facilitated by matching ramps machined into the slider lath body 7 and the actuator latch body 2.
