Zusammenfassung: | Fluidic valve 100 comprising a valve sealing body 104 placeable at a valve seat 102 when the fluidic valve is closed and being displaced with respect to the valve seat 102 when the fluidic valve is open, a force transmission element 106 coupled with the valve sealing body, and an actuator mechanism 108 for actuating the force transmission element for triggering the valve sealing body 104 to carry out an additional movement different from an opening movement and a closing movement. The additional movement may be tilting, rotating, oscillating, or tumbling. The additional movement may be for cleaning the valve seat and/or the valve body and/or releasing the body from the seat. The force transmission element may be a rod. The actuator mechanism may comprise an electroactive layer 112 between two electrode layers 114, 115, each layer divided into individually actuatable segments 116. There may be a sensor mechanism 118 for sensing a response to the movement. A determining unit 130 may determine the viscosity and/or flow rate of fluid processed by the valve. Also claimed is a sample separation apparatus comprising the valve. The valve may be used in liquid chromatography sample separation, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), gas chromatography separation, or supercritical fluid chromatography. |
