Zusammenfassung:Collecting a customer's response to a question relating to a transaction begins with a requestor sending a question request and data about the transaction to a questions server. The questions server selects a question based on the transaction data and sends the selected question to the requestor. The requestor then either presents the question to the customer directly or instructs a display to present the question to the customer. The customer's response is collected and sent either to the questions server or to another database. Question selection may be random, by weighted random selection, or by a rules engine determining whether a transaction data element meets a requirement to trigger a question. The customer may be limited to responding with a single key press or touch. The question and response may be displayed and collected using a PIN entry device, self service checkout, mobile point of sale, phone, website, email, or mobile app. Also claimed are a requesting device which additionally sends a request for payment authorisation to a financial institution, and a questions server which additionally stores a second group of core questions applicable independently of the transaction data.
