Zusammenfassung:	A sample collection device 2, for collecting a fluid sample, comprising a sample collection chamber 4. The chamber comprises a chamber outlet 28 through which a fluid sample can pass. The device further comprises a sample collection conduit 18 extending through an opening 19 of the sample collection chamber to an outside of the sample collection chamber. The sample collection conduit comprises a conduit inlet 20 for receiving a fluid sample and a conduit outlet 22 for allowing the fluid sample to pass into the sample collection chamber. The device further comprises a plunger 26 configured to expel the fluid out of the sample collection chamber through the chamber outlet. A medical device is also provided comprising a chamber for receiving a fluid comprising a first opening at one end of the chamber and a second opening at a second end of the chamber; a first and second removable cap is pre-attached to the respective first and second openings.
