Zusammenfassung: | A portable ultrasonic ocular surface dosing device comprises a bin 2 or reservoir, closed by a screw-top cover 21 with a viewing window 22, into which liquid medicine is poured. Ultrasonic atomiser 4 is arranged on a spray head on a device front face and connected to the bin by liquid outlet channel 3. Pressing atomisation switch 11 causes the spray head to atomise medicine, controlled by a circuit board 6 and powered by a battery 5 e.g., a lithium 5v/4Ah battery. The dose may be 40 microlitres. The circuit board comprises a switch signal receiving module; a timing module gives a timed signal to a driving module which controls the atomiser. An ultraviolet disinfection lamp 9 in the bin is covered by a quartz lamp shade 91. On pressing disinfection switch 12 the circuit board illuminates the lamp for 30 minutes per day. The switches and spray head lie within a groove 14 on the front face of the device. Atomization dosing mode is milder than direct dripping of eye drops, and easier to accept by people with sensitive ocular surfaces. A front spray head means the patient does not have to incline the head. |
