Zusammenfassung:An organometallic compound of Formula 1; Wherein M represents a central coordination metal selected from molybdenum, tungsten, rhenium, ruthenium, osmium, rhodium, iridium, palladium, platinum and gold; Y is selected from BR3, CR3R4, C=O, C=NR3, SiR3R4, NR3, PR3, AsR3, SbR3, BiR3, P(O)R3, P(S)R3, P(Se)R3, As(O)R3, As(Se)R3, Sb(O)R3, SB(S)R3, Sb(Se)R3, Bi(O)R3, Bi(Se)R3, O, S, Se, Te, SO, SO2, SeO, SeO2, TeO and TeO2; X1 and X2 each independently represent C, N or P, provided at least one of X1 and X2 is C and the other is N or P; X3-6 each independently represent CR5 or N; X7-10 each independently represent CR6 or N; R1-6 are as herein defined; Z1-Z2 represents a bidentate ligand; m is 1-3 and n is 0-2; and m + N is an oxidation number of the metal M. M is preferably Iridium. Y is preferably O, S or CR1R2. Z1-Z2 may be a 1,3-diketone, exemplified examples include acetylacetone. The organometallic compound may be used as dopant of a light-emitting layer of an organic electroluminescent device.
