Zusammenfassung:	An apparatus for processing aggregate material comprises a chassis 2 and a trough 4 mounted thereon and inclined at an angle. At least one rotatable shaft 6, 8 is mounted within trough 4 and extends from a lower to an upper end. Shafts 6, 8 have blades 10, 12 mounted thereon, and which are angled so that they carry material within trough 4 towards an upper. Discharge opening 16 provides an exit in a base of trough 4 which is adjacent to the upper end. Height adjustable and pivotably mounted weir 18 is also provided in the trough upstream of said discharge opening and blades 6, 8over which processed material must pass to reach said discharge opening before passing to grading / dewatering screen 14. Blades 10, 12 of respective shafts 6,8 may be staggered, allowing passage between each other during shaft rotation. The apparatus, also described as a logwasher allows the removal of clay contaminants and the like material from aggregates such as sand, gravel, rock and crushed ores.
