Display apparatus and multi display apparatus including the same

A multi display apparatus has plural display devices along a first direction and a transverse direction. Each display device has a second substrate 200 coupled to a first substrate having pixels in a display portion which may be the same size as the first substrate. A metal pattern layer on a rear surface of the second substrate 200 is insulated with a rear insulation layer. The rear insulation layer has a first area A1, and also a second area A2 which is non-overlapped with the metal pattern layer. The first area has a multi-inorganic layer structure. The second area has a single inorganic layer structure with thickness thinner than the first area and may be a ladder, mesh or island shape. The rear insulation layer of first area may have a first insulation layer 202 between first and second metal layers 201, 203 of the metal pattern layer, and a second insulation layer 204 covering the second metal layer 203. The second area may have one of the first and second insulation layers 202, 204.
