Straddle-type vehicle simulator

A straddle-type vehicle simulator comprises a simulation vehicle frame 1. The vehicle frame may be attached to a Stewart platform 3, having six actuators 8, which act as a motion system for the vehicle frame during a simulation. The vehicle frame includes a seat 4, handlebars 5 and foot pegs 6 wherein their positions can each be selectively moved through and secured at a range of positions. The seat, handlebars and foot pegs may be secured to the vehicle frame in an adjustable manner that allows them to be moved through a range of positions and each may be adjusted by a controller to correspond to different types of straddle-type vehicles prior to simulation. In a further embodiment, a plurality of sensors may determine the position of the controls as the rider 2 operates the simulated vehicle and output control signals to cause movement of the actuators.
