Zusammenfassung:	A solidified melt extrudate comprising an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) in an amorphous form and a combination of at least two polymers is disclosed. The API is preferably a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory compound (NSAID) such as ibuprofen. A combination of polymers, such as dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate co-polymer and polyvinylpyrrolidone vinyl acetate copolymer stabilises the ibuprofen therein in an amorphous form for a period of at least six months. The composition also has improved dissolution and extent of precipitation properties.
