Zusammenfassung: | A skincare device which uses a spectral sensor to detect a frequency band outside of the visible spectrum, i.e. ultraviolet or infrared. One or more characteristics of the user's skin is detected using the sensor. Based on the characteristic one or more metabolic constituents are identified, e.g. protein, collagen, elastin, melanin, haemoglobin, blood oxygen saturation, water lipid, and sebum. The constituents are used to determine one or more skin features, for example active and passive wrinkles, fine lines, skin roughness, and enlarged pores. The skincare device is controlled to perform an action based on the determined feature, e.g. changing operation settings, generating an alert or alarm. The device may comprise a light source which emits light onto the user's skin and the action may comprise controlling the parameters of the light emitted. The characteristics may be processed to generate an image of the user's skin. Image processing and classification tools may be used to identify skin features. |
