Zusammenfassung: | A first device includes at least one processor and storage. The storage includes instructions executable by the at least one processor to use an ultra-wideband (UWB) transceiver to transmit a signal between the first device and a second device and determine a current location of the first or second device and to, based on the current location as determined using the UWB transceiver, restrict how the first or second device can be used while the device is located at the current location. The restrictions may relate to functions that are not allowed in a particular room within a building. The geographic area for location-based use permissions is established based on the device traversing a perimeter of the room. The restriction may relate to Internet access. The first device may be a user device, router, access point, UWB beacon or smart home hub. |
