Zusammenfassung:	The sensor module 500 includes a housing including a sensor configured to sense a position of a locking member 205. A transmitter transmits a signal indicating that the locking member is sensed to be in a first locked position when the position of the locking member is sensed to be in the first locked position. Also claimed is a covering 200 for an opening with a sensor assembly. The covering includes a panel and frame one of which has a locking member, and the sensor is located in the other. Also claimed is a method of installing a sensor assembly by fastening the sensor to one of a panel or frame, moving the panel to a closed position and moving a the locking member of the other one of the panel or frame to a closed position and sensing using the sensor when the locking member is in a locked position and then storing the sensor reading as a first calibration reading.
